The countdown is on! This Friday, February 6, the community is invited to experience an unforgettable evening of art, music, and philanthropy at Palette & Pour, a vibrant Mardi Gras–themed celebration taking place from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Canvas Brewing Company in Huntsville.
The evening promises a lively lineup of entertainment and experiences, including:
- Live music by The Tobin Spring Band, will be putting forth a collage of Jazz & Blues classics along with Mardi Gras inspired favourites. Featuring Mitch Beube on the saxophone.
- Louisiana-inspired cuisine crafted by renowned local chef Randy Spencer of Spencer’s Culinary Creations & Catering, featuring irresistible Mardi Gras–inspired appetizers.
- An exciting Live Art Challenge, where four talented local artists race against the clock to create original works of art in just 45 minutes. Each finished piece will be featured in the Live Auction later that evening. Participating artists include Caroline Pattison, Serena West, Jennifer Alexis, and Carrie Schiffler.
- Grant Nickalls will be bringing his charm and talent to the evening as the emcee and guest auctioneer.
- A Live Auction offering a variety of incredible items up for bid.
- The popular Wine Cork Pull, where everyone is a winner. Purchase a cork for $20 and take home a bottle of wine valued at $20 or more.
…and so much more throughout the evening.
Tickets are $80 per person, and quantities are limited. With the event happening this Friday, Hospice Huntsville encourages guests to secure their tickets as soon as possible.

Online Art Auction
New this year, Hospice Huntsville is proud to host an Online Art Auction, featuring 39 beautiful art-inspired items from local artisans and craftspeople. Proceeds from the online auction will support the Palette & Pour fundraising goal, with 100% of funds staying in the community. The Online Art Auction is open to everyone, with bidding closing on Saturday, February 7 at 5:00 p.m.

About Hospice Huntsville:
Hospice Huntsville provides quality end of life care for members of our community who are living with a life-limiting illness. The organization provides extended support for family members/caregivers. Hospice Huntsville has been providing palliative care support to our community since 1989. The Visiting Volunteer program provides bedside support in client homes, long term care homes, Algonquin Grace Hospice Residence or at the hospital. This service will allow family and caregiver respite. The Grief and Bereavement programs and counselling support family and caregivers after their loved one has died.
Algonquin Grace Hospice Residence welcomed their first hospice residents 14 years ago.Since January 2012, Hospice Huntsville has been privileged to serve more than 1,000 residents and their families.The beautiful five-bed hospice residence provides 24-hour professional, compassionate nursing and personal support.
Hospice Huntsville appreciates the generous community support it receives, enabling them to continue to provide essential programs and services to our community at no cost. Hospice Huntsville is responsible to raise 50% of their annual operating budget in order to offer our vital programs and services at no charge to our residents and families.
