Each week, Huntsville’s own Grant Nickalls entertains us, inspires us, make us laugh and sometimes makes us cry, but always he reminds us why Huntsville is the best place on earth to call home. These were some of the Our Town videos that had you talking the most.
Our Town is brought to you by:
This week in Our Town, a replay of an important message from Grant. Hundreds of residents have expressed outrage about a statue in the river. How many will do the same for our hospital?

I am so happy to see Huntsville Coucillors leaning towards a separate hospital in Huntsville. Such a move would be the BEST dollars spent to assure further development & a vibrant community, as well as the Best way to service our Huntsville citizens. An advantage Huntsville has over Bracebridge is our ability to service and gain the support from our northern community. Thank You !!!!!

THANK YOU Grant. Was shocked at low attendance at last meeting at The Active Living Centre. A Wake Up Call desperately needed before it’s a fait accompli.
Removing our existing hospital services will place many at risk; ‘killing’ a vibrant town by removing its hospital is equally serious. (Large sporting events & competitions, Ironman etc. – gone.)
A decision is to be announced in Dec.! Please everyone, fill out the survey & include your personal comments.

Thank you Grant. And, (thanks for sharing). If anyone hasn’t filled out the survey presented on Dopler last week, I suggest you do. We could lose our hospital and I would bet, a buck to a hole in a donut, the people who complain, will be the ones who sat on their hands. Thanks for the survey Jean Bagshaw.
I love our hospital. I moved from Toronto over 22 years ago and had a good relationship with the hospitals there and always said ” if I get sick, take me back to Toronto”. After one visit to “our” hospital, I declared it was the best. If you haven’t had to use it, great. Good on ya. But, if you ever had to use it, you would be glad it’s a short drive away.
Keep it here. Please.
