Due to a possible postal disruption, the District has stopped mailing social assistance cheques effective last Friday, September 21, 2018. Instead, cheques will be available for pick-up from District Community Services offices on an interim basis.
Cheques will be available as of Wednesday, September 26, 2018 after 1:00 p.m. at the following locations:
- 141 Main Street, Gravenhurst (District of Muskoka Community Services Office)
- 70 Pine Street, Bracebridge (District of Muskoka Community Services Office)
- 1 King William Street, Unit #5, Huntsville (District of Muskoka Community Services Office)
Hours of Operation:
All of the above offices open at 8:30 a.m. and close at 4:30 p.m. daily.
Please note that the September dental benefit eligibility cards will remain valid until October 31st for Ontario Works clients.
