The Muskoka Hornets Baseball Association is gearing up for another exciting season in 2026, offering competitive travel baseball for players ages 7-18 in the region.
Teams will compete in York Simcoe Baseball Association rep loops, and for 2026, we anticipate forming 7 or 8 teams, depending on player interest at each age group. Tryouts for the 2026 season begin September 6th, and the tryout schedule is now posted on our program website at hornetsbaseball.ca.
Winter training kicks off early in January, with outdoor practices beginning as soon as the snow melts. The regular season runs from May through Labour Day weekend, with teams that qualify for provincials extending their play.
Hornets travel teams practice 1–2 times per week and play 25–40 games throughout the season, including tournaments. Due to travel distances, most games are scheduled as weekend doubleheaders.
