Officers from the Huntsville Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police took two drivers off the road this weekend.
On September 20, 2025, at 3:33 a.m., police were called to a vehicle in a ditch on Falcon Road in the Town of Huntsville. The officers detected an odour of alcohol on the driver and performed a roadside alcohol screening test.
As a result of the investigation, police have charged Cameron BLAIR, 19 years old of Huntsville, Ontario, with:
- Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
- Driving while Suspended
The accused was released with an October court date at the Court of Justice in Bracebridge.
The accused was also issued a 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension, and the vehicle was impounded for 7 days.
On September 21, 2025, at 7:10 a.m., Huntsville OPP officers were dispatched to a report of a male in a vehicle who was possibly unconscious. Upon arrival at the scene on Old Ferguson Road in the Town of Huntsville, police determined the male to be impaired.
As a result of the investigation, police have charged Andrew CRYDERMAN, 38 years old of Sprucedale Ontario, with:
- Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
The accused was released with an October court date at Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge.
The accused was also issued a 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension, and the vehicle was impounded for 7 days.
