Last few days to take in Huntsville’s Indie film festival ~ CineMuskoka

CineMuskoka Film Festival is on from August 27 to September 2—a celebration of Canadian filmmaking set in the quintessential summer cottage country of Huntsville Ontario.

Films will be screened downtown Huntsville at the Algonquin Theatre, as well as under the stars at River Mill Park. For tickets and scheduling, visit cinemuskoka.com

The CineMuskoka Film Festival spotlights up-and-coming filmmakers, and provides audiences with an intimate experience where they can meet and talk to the creators after their screenings.

There will be a virtual realty (VR) film installation at the Algonquin Theatre in Partners Hall from August 31 to September 2. Audiences will be able to put on state-of-the-art virtual reality goggles and experience experimental and narrative VR projects.

Be sure to also check out live wood burning artist Chris Burns in his tent outside the Algonquin Theatre,
who will be creating the awards for this years festival.

The award ceremony will be open to the public and will be held Sunday, September 2 at 7 p.m. at the Algonquin
Theatre.
