Kiwanis draw helps community members in need and gives you great odds of winning

One of the recurring themes Kiwanis Huntsville Muskoka Club President Rick Brooks says he sees clearly is food insecurity.

“Kiwanis locally has always been there for the support of families through our active involvement in food drives throughout the year, including ‘Project Porchlight’ and ‘Christmas in July.’ Although each of these are seen as successful, and with other organizations trying as hard, it never seems to be enough,” says Brooks.

Kiwanis has now partnered with Bullock’s Your Independent Grocer and Metro to present the “Kiwanis Super Grocery Calendar Draw.”

Tickets are now on sale for this draw. Three tickets will be drawn every third Wednesday of the month, from January to October, for grocery vouchers valued at $100, $200, and $500. Tickets are $50 each, and the winning tickets are returned to the drum after each draw. You have up to 30 chances to win.

“I would say this is a win-win scenario, given that each ticket you buy gives you up to 30 chances of winning grocery vouchers, and then the net proceeds of the draw go back into our community through the various service projects and school-based programs supported by the Kiwanis Club of Huntsville Muskoka,” adds Brooks.
