The JJ Competitive Team did amazing this year, all our teachers and choreographers could not be more proud! We feel everyone performed their personal best.
We attended three competitions this season, Dance Canada Competition at Blue Mountain, Xtreme Dance Champions at Deerhurst Resort, and Bedazzled Dance Competition in Richmond Hill.
Our team hit the stage with enthusiasm and confidence. They had a blast off-stage as well, cheering on their teammates as well as others.
Making friends with other teams. I had a teacher from another studio approach me and say how wonderful our group of kids were. This is what makes us the most proud.
A few stand-out moments were:
Int./Sr. Jazz “Latin Experience” won Sr. Cup Champions at Dance Canada
Top Production “Austin Powers” at both Dance Canada and Xtreme dance Champions
Choreography Award to Jennifer J-Main for Acro group “Wind it Up” at Xtreme Dance Champions and Kasey Charlebois outstanding choreography for Ballet Group “Love” at Bedazzled Dance Competition.
Ty Horvath-Thompson received Highest Mark of the Day at Xtreme and Senior Standout Dancer at Bedazzled.
JJ Dance Performing Arts received 2nd Place Top Studio at Xtreme Dance Competition!
