What a weekend! The Annual Jack Bionda Shootout saw over 600 athletes compete in Huntsville — and our Hawks soared!
Out of five divisions entered, four teams made it to their championship final, finishing with:
3 Gold Medals
1 Silver Medal
A huge congratulations to all our teams and volunteers for putting on a world-class weekend of lacrosse right here in Muskoka!
Regular Season Results
- U9-1 vs Stayner – 14-3
Massive offensive showing led by Declan Cole (5), Kayden Clark (3), and Boden Shirtliff (2).
- U9-2 vs Midland 2 – 14-4
Goals by: Bodhi Pearson (5) and Blake Moore (3) dominated in a well-rounded team effort.
- U13 vs Midland 2 – 16-3
Multi-goal games from Nevin French (4), Gabriel Dinner (2), and Presley Schmeler (2).
- U15 vs Barrie – 5-2
Balanced scoring from Sage Liadis, Jared Allen, James Bulloch, and Oren French
- U17 vs Barrie – 5-1
A strong defensive outing and goals from five different Hawks secure the win

U9-1 – Silver Medalists
- Wins over Brampton, West Grey, and Fort Erie
- Tied Lincoln in round robin
- Fell in the championship to Orillia 1 after a hard-fought run
U11-1 – Gold Medalists
- Dominant 5-game sweep: outscored opponents 49-13
- Championship win over Lincoln 1 (10-3)
- Standouts included Kael Liadis, Jacob Rudge, and Max Guy
U11-2
- Battled hard in a tough division with strong efforts from Gavin Cooper, Xavier Dinner, and Lorin Vandenheuvel
U13
- Started strong with a 10-5 win over Cambridge
- Narrow 4-5 loss to Orangeville prevented advancement
- Consistent leadership from Nevin French and Presley Schmeler
U15 – Gold Medalists
- Rolled through with wins over Clarington, Uxbridge, Arthur, Owen Sound
- Final win vs Newmarket 9-6
- Oren French (5) and James Bulloch (4) powered the offense
U17 – Gold Medalists
- Wins over Owen Sound, Orangeville 2, Nepean 2, West Grey
- Championship Game: OT thriller win vs. Sarnia (5-4)
- Overtime winner scored by Oren French
- Clutch performances from Avery Shirtliff, Jake Earl, and Hudson Francis
