Guesses on the date of this photo of Blackburn’s Marina and the swing bridge ranged from the 1950s to the early 1980s.
Brian Tapley added: “…the time when marina’s were actually located on waterfront and boats were more affordable than today and quite a bit smaller too. You can bet none of the boats in those days had sound systems in them!”
