It’s Wayback Wednesday: Waaaay back

Welcome to Wayback Wednesday sponsored by Cavalcade Color Lab! Every week, we’ll be sharing a vintage photo and asking our readers to chime in with anything you can recall about the photo, other related memories, or even a funny caption. Have some vintage photos of your own? Send them to [email protected] and we may share them with our readers!

This week, we go way back in Huntsville’s history. Can you guess the year this photo was taken? Do you recognize any of the buildings?

Last week we shared this photo with you:

We didn’t have details for this image, other than it being a parade, but Doppler readers came through to fill in the gaps.

Front and centre in the dusty rose suit is Cheryl Wilson. She tells us via Facebook: “To my right I think that’s Marg Diernegger and Joanne Bionda. It was ’82 I think and it was the Santa Claus parade. Some may remember that I taught Dancefit in Huntsville, Bracebridge and Port Sydney for years. I remember it being tough to cover that much ground to music. #lovethistown! #smiles”

Thanks, Cheryl!
