Grade seven and eight students from Spruce Glen Public School have been busy creating unique art work on salvaged wood palettes.
The students have used their imaginations to paint their original works, on authentic salvaged wood palette boards, thanks to the generous donation from Tom and Beth Farr of Wood N Thistle. The resulting Canadiana art is bold and stunning!
The public is invited to come and meet the artists on Thursday, December 15, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at Partner’s Hall at the Algonquin Theatre. At that time people will be given the opportunity to bid on the original pieces of art work.
Art will be auctioned off to raise funds for the Spruce Glen Grade 8 year-end trip to Montreal. Don’t miss this opportunity to check out the incredible talent, and perhaps even bid on one for yourself or as a gift.
Additional boards will also be available on site, and for a donation you can take home a salvaged wood canvas, where you can unleash your creative side too!
