As of 11:19 a.m. on March 30, thousands of residences are without power. Hydro crews are responding to outages.
If you spot a fallen line, keep at least 10 metres back, even if it does not appear to be live. Report it to 911 and call Hydro One at 1-800-434-1235.
To protect your home from flooding, where safe to do so, remove debris from gutters, eavestroughs and downspouts. If flooding occurs and water starts to reach electrical outlets, baseboard heaters or furnace, customers should call 1-800-434-1235 to have power safely turned off. Do not enter any flooded areas, such as the basement, until power is disconnected.
