The 4560 Huntsville Sting U13-black team is aiming for the Good Deeds Cup put on by Chevrolet Canada each year. It is a contest between any hockey team in Canada.
It consists of the team and their friends competing against other teams to see who can do the most good deeds between January 19th and midnight on March 3rd, 2024. The winner gets $ 100,000 towards the charity of their choice.
The 4560 Huntsville Sting U13-black team has chosen Food4Kids Muskoka as their charity of choice.
Good deeds can be done by anyone in the community who wants to help.
Good deeds must be documented by photo or video (less than 60 seconds) and uploaded by someone over 13 years of age, onto any social media site (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube or X) that has the settings set to public, along with these hashtags and tags @4560huntsvillestingu13-black
@chevroletcanada #gooddeedscup #contest
Alternatively, they can share anyone’s good deeds on our dedicated U13 FB page if they would like to send them to us with a description.
The page is: 4560Huntsvillestingu13-black and is public.
Anybody appearing in the photos or videos must consent to their image being posted on social media. Logos and trademarks should not appear in the photos and videos.
“We are so excited about this chance to learn and grow as humans, do good things in our community, and hopefully win the cup and money to support this awesome cause! Our teammates are all thinking every day about how they can make a difference in someone’s life by doing a good deed. It’s a beautiful opportunity for all of us!” wrote Team Manager Sarah Roberts via email correspondence. At the time, more than 90 good deeds had been documented in just three days. “It’s incredible and we will be going strong, doing good deeds for the rest of the contest time and hopefully for the rest of our lives!!”
