Huntsville Sports Hall of Fame 2026 induction ceremony returns on Sept. 26

The Huntsville Sports Hall of Fame selection committee is happy to announce that the 2026 Induction Night celebration will take place on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at The Algonquin Theatre, starting at 7 pm.

Tickets are $25 each and will be available online in July through the Theatre’s website at www.algonquintheatre.ca

The Huntsville Sports Hall of Fame has, for 36 years, recognized and inducted some 114 Individuals, in the categories of Athletes, Coaches, Managers, Builders, and 12 Teams.  Additionally, we present the Jan Glenn, Mike Greaves, and Peter Jacob awards. 

The 2026 Inductees include :

ATHLETES:

Mary Simonett  – Tennis

Nathan Perry – Para-skiing   

Baden Johns – Track & Field

Gus Liadis – Lacrosse

BUILDERS:

Jocelyn Knox – Lacrosse

Larry French – Lacrosse

COACHES:

Cindy Blake –  Special Olympics – Cross Country Skiing

Mike Graham – OMHA Bantam Hockey

TEAM:

1999 HHS Hoyas Sr, Girls AA Basketball Team

Additionally, we will be honouring our annual individual award winners, with the Jan Glenn, Mike Greaves, and Peter Jacob awards.
