Santa and his helpful elves have been busy planning their floats for the Santa Claus Parade which returns to downtown Huntsville on Friday, November 24 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The theme this year is Creating Hope at Christmas.
New floats are always welcome – even up to the day before! As of last week, there were about 75 floats. If you’re interested in registering your float, contact the Huntsville/Lake of Bays Chamber of Commerce via email at [email protected] or by calling 705-789-4771.
Muskoka Market: Huntsville Holiday Edition takes place on November 25 and 26 and a tree lighting ceremony to kick off the weekend takes place on Thursday, November 23, 2023.
The Huntsville BIA says it is thrilled to announce the 3rd Annual Muskoka Market: Huntsville Holiday Edition! They are working with local partners to bring the community together to shop local and take part in some holiday cheer on Saturday, November 25th from 10 AM to 6 PM and Sunday, November 26th from 11 AM – 3 PM. Santa and Mrs. Claus will also be joining them!
The BIA will be decorating the streets with holiday cheer and they’ll have warming outdoor fire pits. There will be carolers and dancers, as well as an organized shopping experience for kids. You can expect giveaways and so much more!
To kick off the weekend, the BIA is also hosting their annual Customer Appreciation Crawl on Thursday, November 23rd from 5 PM-9 PM, and at 6 PM the BIA will be hosting a Tree Lighting Ceremony in Kent Park!

Please note that the street will remain closed overnight, with private security on hand and vendors can leave their set-ups on the street. Volunteers will be on hand to welcome you, answer questions, and help with logistics.
Please Note: Main Street from Brunel Road to Centre Street will be closed to vehicle traffic from Saturday, November 25th at 7 AM to Sunday, November 26th at 4 PM.
Santa and Mrs. Claus will be in downtown Huntsville all weekend long so bring your letters! There will be photo opportunities with beautiful murals painted by Zoe Valentine.
Children’s Holiday Shopping Adventure takes place Sunday, November 26th, from 11 AM-3 PM.
