Huntsville Public Library (HPL) will be taking its collections, services, and programs on the road to Port Sydney beginning Monday, April 9.
Stop by the Port Sydney Community Hall and enjoy Stories with Sandy Inkster from 10 to 11 a.m. and then get crafty, check out items, enjoy gadgets, get tech help and connect to free WiFi. And you can get a Library card.
HPL will be at the Port Sydney Community Hall these days and times:
Monday April 9, 16, 23, 30 and May 7 & 14 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
As HPL Board Chair Sue Dixon shares, “We are always happy when we are able to deliver to our users what they ask for; however, we can’t do it without that feedback so….. we say to our friends in Port Sydney …. thanks for the feedback you asked for it and you got it!”
And keep it coming! With each visit, let the library know what you like and what they can do to make it even better.
They will have a special visitor on April 9. Councillor Jason FitzGerald will be stopping by to see it all. As he said, “I think it is fantastic that our Library is reaching out to our community in so many innovative ways.”
