The board of the Huntsville Public Library is pleased to announce the hiring of David Tremblay to the position of CEO of the Huntsville Public Library. David will assume his duties May 4, 2020.

David’s professional activities also include serving as a Library Director Mentor at a director bootcamp; a board member for an Adult Learning organization; and as a Director on Advocacy and Intellectual Freedom committees of the Library Association of Alberta.
Maureen Cubberley will continue in her appointment as Interim CEO of the Huntsville Public Library until David assumes his new role in May. Please feel free to drop in to the library to meet or reacquaint yourselves with Maureen.
The board asks the community to extend a warm welcome to David Tremblay when he and his family arrive in the spring. Until then, we thank library patrons for your steadfast support and look forward to continually improving your experience of the Huntsville Public Library.
