On Sunday June 3, 2018 just before 6:00 a.m. Huntsville Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was advised of an assault with a weapon that had taken place on Main St W. in the town of Huntsville.
Huntsville OPP learned that a male had been walking on Main St. W., on his way downtown. In the area of Station Rd., two males came up behind the victim and struck him on the head twice with what appeared to be a steel rod. The victim managed to run to a nearby store and was transported to a local area hospital for treatment. He suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Huntsville OPP is seeking the public’s assistance in locating the two male suspects. Both are described as being white, in their late teens or early 20s, wearing dark clothing. They were last seen getting into an older model white or grey SUV on Main St. W. driving south on Paget Ln.
