On September 10th, 2025, at approximately 4:40 a.m., the Huntsville OPP responded to a report of a single motor vehicle collision on Aspdin Rd in the Town of Huntsville.
Police, Huntsville Fire Department, and Muskoka Ambulance attended the scene. Upon arriving at the scene, police located three youths aged 13 to 16 years with varying degrees of injuries. With the assistance of Muskoka EMS, the youth were taken to the hospital for treatment. Two of the youth were taken to Trauma centres via Air Ambulance, but their injuries were not considered life-threatening.
One of the youth was treated locally and released from hospital. This youth has been charged with possession of stolen property and is to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge, Ontario, at a later date.
There are no updates on the injuries of the two youth that were transported to trauma centres.
