On November 25, 2022, at 5:53 a.m. Huntsville Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a report of a robbery at a Circle K store located at Main St East in Huntsville after a man entered the store, demanded, and made off with a small amount of cash and cigarettes.
As a result of the investigation police have arrested and charged 27-year-old Joseph WHITFIELD of Huntsville with the following:
– Robbery with theft contrary to section 344 (1)(b) of the Criminal Code.
– Wear disguise with intent contrary to section 351 (2) of the Criminal Code.
– Failure to comply with undertaking contrary to section 145 (4)(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
Mr. WHITFIELD is being held in custody and is scheduled to appear on November 25, 2022, in the Ontario Court of Justice, Muskoka.
