Huntsville Girls Hockey Association celebrates the accomplishments of its members

From the Girls Hockey Association

On Friday evening, the Huntsville Girls Hockey Association held its annual year-end banquet to celebrate the accomplishments of their teams.

We extend our gratitude to all the hockey families for joining us to relive the season’s most unforgettable moments as we recognized our teams in various categories: 🎖️Esso Award for Most Team Spirit, 🎖️Esso Award for Most Improved, 🎖️Esso Award for the Most Dedicated, and a special award, 🎖️The Anita Nichols, for a player who excelled throughout the season. Additionally, we presented the 🎖️Sheila Thompson Award for outstanding dedication to the Huntsville Girls Hockey Association.

We appreciate the commitment and effort of the players, coaching staff, and families that contributed to this year’s success. A heartfelt thank you goes to the Canada Summit Centre staff, the executive board members & volunteers for their hard work in organizing the event, as well as to Pizza Nova and East Side Mario’s for providing delicious food and being part of our celebration. As always, thank you for helping to make the Sting a Thing!🤩

Congratulations to all of our teams and Award recipients. 👏Registrations for the upcoming season will open soon. Stay tuned for exciting details. GO STING GO! 🐝🏒
