Huntsville fire danger set to extreme, total fire ban in place

The Muskoka Fire Chiefs have issued a TOTAL FIRE BAN for the District of Muskoka. This means no campfires, no burning of brush, no open flame (i.e. chimneas) and no fireworks. This ban will remain in effect until significant rainfall is received throughout Muskoka.

The Muskoka Fire Chiefs appreciate the public’s assistance in adhering to this ban, which will help prevent any fires that would adversely affect property, buildings and the natural beauty of Muskoka.
