From the Huntsville Festival of the Arts
The Huntsville Festival of the Arts (HfA) is thrilled to unveil its most ambitious fall and winter season yet, running from September 2025 through May 2026.
This year’s lineup features an extraordinary mix of internationally celebrated artists, homegrown talent, and unique programming across some of Muskoka’s most charming venues.
Deerhurst Resort plays host to several marquee performances including legendary comedian Howie Mandel (Sept 26), country chart-toppers James Barker Band (Oct 24) and Dallas Smith (Dec 6), plus a special holiday concert with beloved singer-songwriter Jann Arden (Dec 13).
Back for another season, the Nursery Nights series at Sandhill Nursery delivers intimate, greenhouse-set performances from folk legends Old Man Luedecke (Sep 13), David Francey (Sep 27), and Irish Mythen (Oct 3), along with two hilarious comedy events: A Garden Variety Improv Show (Sept 19) and Yuk Yuk’s On Tour (Oct 18).
Meanwhile, the Algonquin Theatre hosts a diverse array of shows including a farewell performance from hometown folk duo Madison Violet (Oct 26), a return from Canadian blues icon Colin James (Nov 28), and the genre-defying Red Hot Chili Pipers (Feb 21). Audiences can also look forward to powerful theatrical performances such as What You Won’t Do for Love starring environmental icons David Suzuki and Tara Cullis (Mar 5), and The Sound of Music by Salzburg Marionette Theater (Mar 14). The spring finishes strong with Just for Laughs Roadshow (Apr 25), Men of the Deeps 60th Anniversary (Apr 26), and world-music star Jesse Cook (May 7).
Programming continues to explore unique venues with hometown favourite Hawksley Workman presenting a heartfelt holiday concert Almost A Full Moon at Trinity United Church (Dec 5 & 6).
More announcements are on the way, including additional shows at Deerhurst, a family friendly holiday pantomime and the annual Community Musical, and other surprises for the holiday season.
Tickets go on sale to the general public on July 3 at 10am. For advance access and exclusive perks like 15% ticket discounts, fans are encouraged to join as a Friend of the Festival.
“We’re excited to bring such a diverse and exceptional lineup to Huntsville this fall,” says Dan Watson, Executive Director of HfA. “We’re fortunate to be able to see these big-time shows in our small town.”
