Huntsville OPP reported today that a Huntsville couple has been charged with fraud in an incident involving a pickup truck from Bickley Ford. The couple purchased a pickup truck from the dealership but the OPP says it was later learned that the transaction was fraudulent.
As a result of the OPP investigation, the suspects and the pickup truck were located in Alliston, Ontario. Fifty-one-year-old Dale Ann Evans and fifty-seven-year-old Harold Garnett have both been charged with Fraud over $5000.00. They will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Huntsville on July 19, 2017 to answer to their charges.
Bickley Ford posted on its Facebook page on June 12 that the truck, pictured above, had been picked up at the OPP detachment and was back at the dealership. They thanked everyone who had helped to spread the word about the missing truck.
