Huntsville Atom Gold Sting take silver at recent tournament

The Huntsville Girls Hockey Association teams attended the Brampton Canadettes 50th Annual Easter Tournament on April 13-16, 2017. This tournament is the largest and longest running female hockey tournament held in the province with over 300 participating teams.

Huntsville had six teams represent in the tournament in all house league divisions: Novice, Atom (two teams), PeeWee, Bantam and Intermediate

The Huntsville Atom Gold Sting house league team went undefeated in the round robin games and finished with a second place silver after a 3-1 loss in the final against Smiths Falls. Way to go, team – Huntsville Atom Gold Sting, silver medal champions!

Kerri Vallentin, the team manager of the Atom Gold Sting, said, “The Huntsville Girls Hockey Association is so proud of all the teams’ achievements this season. See you all next year!”
