HTC celebrates 60 years of James Bond with Shaken, Not Stirred

Submitted by Huntsville Theatre Company

The name’s Bond. James Bond.

The Huntsville Theatre Company (HTC) announces the next show in their What’s on Tap series, Shaken, Not
Stirred.

Shaken, Not Stirred will be a fun-filled night celebrating all things 007.

In honour of the 60th anniversary of the James Bond franchise, spend the evening listening to live performances of the movie themes you all know and love, from “Skyfall” to “Live and Let Die”. Bring your license to kill…it on the dance floor! And don’t forget to add a classic martini from the bar. Dress in your Bond best and be ready for action.

Producer Jodie Auckland says she can’t wait to share her passion of all things Bond. “I’m so excited for this incredibly talented cast to bring to life these iconic songs that I grew up with and have loved forever. Just the first few notes of a Bond theme and the excitement kicks in.”

Performers include Josie Robinson, Briar Summers, Tim Lucier, Emilie Stroud, Niki Cutting, James Currie, and Meeda Berg, with MCs Jodie Auckland and David Thatcher.

“These performers really do the music justice. I’m so lucky that they were available and willing to share their fabulous voices. Once more, HTC is licensed to thrill!” says Auckland.

Shaken, Not Stirred takes place Saturday, April 23 at Canvas Brewing Co. (12 John Street). The event is 19+ and starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $25 or $15 for members and can be purchased at huntsvilletheatre.org.
