Hospital petitions available at Town facilities

The Town of Huntsville would like to notify residents that Parry Sound-Muskoka MPP Norm Miller has launched a petition calling upon the Minister of Health and Long-Term Care to commit to maintaining core hospital services at both Huntsville Memorial Hospital and South Muskoka Memorial Hospital and to ensure small and medium sized hospitals receive enough funding to maintain core services.

A copy of the petition is available to sign at the following Town of Huntsville facilities: Town Hall (2nd floor), the Algonquin Theatre, the Huntsville Public Library, the Canada Summit Centre and the Main Huntsville Fire Station.

The copies of the petition will be available to sign until April 30, 2018 at 4:30 p.m.

Great point Mike. Please work with your local leaders to make a copy of the petition available locally. Your community stands to lose the most if core services are not maintained in Huntsville.

How do I sign the petition online, I live in sundridge.
I suggest that we hold a tax revolt similar to the ones conducted in California if they opt to collapse the two sites. At what point in Canadian history did the vox populi, the true voice of democracy, disappear? We apparently live in an oligarchy, dictated to by bureaucracy.
