Home Depot back for in-store business after it closed due to a fire

UPDATE (March 17): After being closed for more than a month due to a fire, the business is now open despite another incident that prompted another call to the fire department on March 16, when a heating unit caused nearby cardboard to ignite and produce smoke at the business. According to Huntsville/Lake of Bays Fire Chief Gary Monahan, it took fire crews a while to identify where the smoke was coming from but the cardboard was out when crews discovered it.

Home Depot will open its door once again tomorrow, March 17, 2023. The business has been closed due to a fire in its paint section, which occurred at approximately 8 p.m. on February 5, 2023.

“We are excited to share with you that The Home Depot Huntsville store will be opening tomorrow, followed by a grand opening on March 31. The customers can once again experience the joy of in-store shopping as they get ready for spring – summer projects,” noted store manager Moira Moloy in an email statement.

Thank you! HD is my favorite store! The Bracebridge location is bigger and has more variety, but, well…Huntsville is closer… ?

Was just curious what was done with all the damaged inventory that was removed from the store ??
