Join Valdy, one of Canada’s most noteworthy folk singers for this free concert in the park on Friday, August 5 starting at 7:30. The new Rotary bandshell will be the place, so bring your lawn chair or favourite blanket and enjoy an evening of outdoor music. Having taken his music around the globe this ‘ambassador of folk’ will bring a smile to your face and get you singing along to his many hits.
This is a presentation of the Huntsville Festival of the Arts and is offered to the community at large as a way of saying thank you for the support they have received over their 24 years of operation.
The Rotary bandshell, which officially opened on the May long weekend, has been host to a variety of events so far this summer, including a kick-off concert featuring the Muskoka Concert Band, Band on the Run, the Muskoka 2-4 Craft Beer Festival, Canada Day celebrations, and the first Celestial Cinema with more to follow in August.
