Hear Well Be Well® is proud to announce a unique initiative that celebrates local talent and strengthens community spirit.
In partnership with acclaimed Huntsville and Island Lake artist Brenda Behan Turnour, the company is holding a free draw for a chance to win her nationally recognized painting, Algonquin Canoe Trip.
Brenda Behan Turnour, who sold her first oil painting at the age of 12, is an accomplished Canadian artist. She studied at Victoria College (University of Toronto) and the University of Caen in France, where she earned her first major award for a pen-and-ink rendering of a historic manor house. Today, she works full-time as a professional artist, juror, and workshop instructor throughout Ontario. Her work has been exhibited internationally — in more countries than she’s personally visited.

In 2025, Turnour was named the national winner of the Yellow Pages Cover Competition. Her vivid streetscape in watercolour and ink was selected to appear on more than 50,000 Yellow Pages directories distributed across all 10 provinces.
To celebrate this milestone and recognize her artistic contributions, Hear Well Be Well® is offering a free entry into the draw for anyone who completes a hearing test at its Huntsville clinic, located downtown in the Pet Valu Plaza. Turnour’s original painting, valued at $1,500, will be on display at the clinic for the duration of the campaign.
“At Hear Well Be Well®, we believe in listening — not just with our ears, but to our communities,” said Kathleen Tiede, co-CEO of Hear Well Be Well®. “Brenda’s art captures the spirit of Huntsville, and we’re honoured to help share her story.”
