Hare Krishna Cultural Centre opening celebration to be held at River Mill Park on Sunday

Huntsville’s new Hare Krishna Cultural Centre, which will include a vegetarian restaurant called Govida’s and a gift shop on the site of the former Capitol Theatre, has been in the works for several years and is now ready to open.

To celebrate the center’s inauguration, organizers are holding a Grand Opening Festival at River Mill Park on Sunday, May 19, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and everyone is invited.

There will be activities for young and old, and organizers promise a free vegetarian feast.
