Jessie Sedore, 38, pled guilty recently in a Bracebridge courtroom to driving while impaired by drugs and breaching court orders.
Court heard that on June 4, 2025, OPP officers conducted a traffic stop after noticing Sedore’s vehicle had both a headlight and taillight out. Police learned he was wanted on warrants. When officers attempted to arrest him, Sedore resisted and tried to get back into his vehicle to flee. He was found in possession of crack cocaine.
A subsequent blood test was positive for cocaine.
The court heard Sedore has a criminal record and had breached probation by failing to participate in court-ordered programs. He had already served 14 days in pre-trial custody.
Sedore was sentenced to time served and 18 months of probation.
