Algonquin Outfitters and the Huntsville Festival of the Arts have announced the return of the Paddle Art and Canoe Mural Auction. The auction is a fundraiser and art exhibit, organized by Algonquin Outfitters in collaboration with the Huntsville Festival of the Arts (HfA).
Members of the public are encouraged to decorate (paint, carve, etc.) a paddle, which will then be auctioned off along with canoes.
The auction proceeds support arts and cultural groups and initiatives in the region. The fundraiser started in 2017 and has raised more than $100,000 for arts and cultural initiatives.
The deadline to submit a decorated paddle is October 24, 2025, and the auction will be held between Mon. Nov 3 – Fri. Nov 21.
