The Rotary Club of Huntsville’s Annual Christmas Auction website is up and running, and bids are already coming in. Final bids are placed this Sunday, November 30.

The auction offers over 200 items donated by local businesses and individuals throughout the community, with a combined value exceeding $35,000. Each of these generous merchants has donated their product or service, hoping that potential bidders will return full value to the Rotary Club.
Donations include golf packages for the Deerhurst Highlands and Mark O’Meara courses, Ottawa Senators hockey tickets, art and entertainment items, dining gift certificates, tools, electronics and items for the home and garden.
Details on all the items up for bid are currently available on the website, as well as a link to the Auction Flyer. The Flyer lets you follow auction items by block and end times.
The auction is a great way to do your Christmas shopping early. In addition to offering gift items across all price ranges, the auction also allows you to get great deals without paying taxes. Most importantly, you will be shopping locally and recognizing the contributions of the many local businesses that contributed items in support of the club’s fundraising efforts!
Bids can only be accepted online and you must register to bid, even if you were signed up last year. Visit www.huntsvillerotaryauction.com now to download the Flyer, review the items and to place bids. Successful bidders can pick up and pay for their items online or at the auction depot on the Monday and Tuesday following the auction day. Payment can be by cash, cheque or credit card.
Can’t be available on Auction Day, or don’t want to follow the auction online? Each item has an ‘Auto Buy’ button that allows you to put in a maximum amount you’re willing to bid. The site will place bids for you as needed up to your maximum amount (but not over). Use the ‘Buy Now’ button to guarantee the item will be yours.
The Rotary Christmas Auction is a principal fundraiser for the Huntsville Rotary Club and is essential to raise the funds necessary for the club to continue to do the good works of Rotary in our community and beyond. Local Rotarians thank you in advance for your support of the Christmas Auction.
