Frank Pengelly passed away peacefully in Ottawa, Ontario, on June 28, 2026, at the age of 89.
Born in Windsor, Frank lived a full and active life. He is survived by his loving wife Eileen, and his children Joanne (Ken), Rob (Irene), and Carolyn, as well as his grandchildren Jessica, Danielle, Cassidy, Ally, and Matthew, and his great-grandsons James, Liam, Lucas and Logan. He will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him.
Frank grew up in Windsor and Cornwall and had fond memories of his days in Army Cadets, including a summer spent in Banff, Alberta. Frank and Eileen started their family in Toronto and enjoyed many years going up to the cottage near Bracebridge. Entrepreneurial and hard-working, Frank built and developed his businesses in Toronto and later in Muskoka.
In 1977, the family moved to Port Sydney, a place Frank cherished very much. He loved the outdoors and took great pride in working on his forest trails, where he found enjoyment in nature.
He will be remembered always.
