Huntsville
- Free Public Skate & Crafts – In Huntsville at the Canada Summit Centre: free skating from 10 am to noon and a family craft afternoon. The crafts will be All About Family and working together! Register HERE.
- Family Movie Screening – Catch a fun film (Guardians of the Galaxy) at the Algonquin Theatre at 2 pm. Get your tickets HERE or at the door one hour before the show.
- Snowshoeing at Muskoka Heritage Place – Free snowshoeing in the pioneer village along with free museum access (donations appreciated) from 10 am–3 pm (Feb 16–21). Register HERE. The Muskoka Museum will also be open to explore for free; though donations are greatly accepted!
- Outdoor Ice Fishing – You can fish without a licence across Ontario on Family Day weekend (Feb 14–16) — perfect for a winter outing with the family.
Baysville
- Baysville Winterfest – A free Family Day event (Feb 16, 9 am–2 pm) featuring pancake breakfasts, live music, outdoor games, and other family-friendly activities at the Lake of Bays Community Centre & Arena.
(Note: parking at the Lake of Bays Community Centre and Arena may be limited that day.)
Emsdale
- Family Day at Emsdale Outdoor Rink – Monday, Feb 16 from ~12:30 pm to 3:30 pm: public skating, bonfire, hot chocolate, and outdoor winter activities.
