The Huntsville Detachment of the OPP is advising members of the public of road closures in the Town of Huntsville during the annual Santa Claus Parade planned for Friday, November 28, 2025.
The parade floats and people will gather on Main Street West. Beginning at 6pm, Main St West will be closed to traffic at the intersection of Yonge Street. During the parade access to Main Street West, Main Street East and King William Street will be blocked as far as the Huntsville Mall.
Motorists are asked to avoid trying to access this route through Huntsville and to respect the road closures. Access to Brunel Road will be via Younge Street to Townline Road.
Please be aware of an increase in pedestrians in the downtown core. Be alert for excited children who may not be watching for vehicles as they run to and from the parade.
