Climate Action Muskoka and Muskoka Conservancy have joined forces to bring you the Muskoka EV Show on May 27 at the Bracebridge Fairgrounds.
So far they’ve got four dealers on onboard:
- Tesla Models 3 and Y, and if there is enough staff, models S and X
- Nissan Ariya and Nissan Leaf (subject to availability)
- Ford’s F150 all-electric truck (Oh yea)
- Hyundai (models TBA)
“We’ve put out a call to local EV owners to display their cars and e-bikes and to be on hand to answer your questions. The availability of test drives is up to the individual owner as it will be under their own insurance,” according to Climate Action Muskoka’s newsletter.
So far they have an electric boat and one e-bike dealer and they are working on getting an electric pontoon boat.
“There will be presentations and lots of information. We hope to have food trucks there as well. Bring your own water bottle. We want this to be as close to a zero-waste event as possible, and certainly free from single-use plastic!”
