Reclaiming Childhood: Smart strategies to manage screens with Katherine Martinko – a TLDSB parent/guardian engagement event

Trillium Lakelands District School Board (TLDSB) parents/guardians and staff are invited to hear from Katherine Martinko, who will focus on smart strategies to manage screens, including:

– Guidance on when to give child a smartphone
– How to handle social media
– Ways to say ‘no’ and deal with the concept of ‘fear of missing out’ aka FOMO
– How to get comfortable with giving children more independent play
