Etwell Concert Series steps out of the box with the House of Hamill trio

The Etwell Concert Series will step out of the box on Dec 11 with an afternoon of what some might call Celtic Folk Music.

House of Hamill is a trio of musicians coming together to produce a blend of Celtic instrumentals, original music, and at this time of year some Irish-infused Christmas Carols. Rose Baldino has her own band, Burning Bridget Cleary, and Brian Buchanan is a member of Enter the Haggis, an internationally renowned Celtic rock band. They met while performing with their own bands at the same Festival in the U.S. They married, live outside Philadelphia, and tour as a trio ( joined by bassist Caroline Browning) in between commitments to their own groups.

We are lucky to catch them on their way home from a sold-out show in Ottawa. Not only can they deliver Celtic, but check out their cover of Sweet Child of Mine on UTube.
Brian is the cousin of Sarah and Tobin Spring.

They’ll be playing at the Legion on Sunday, December 11 from 3-5:30 p.m.
