Environment Canada warns of significant snowfall expected

Issued by: Environment and Climate Change Canada on Friday, Dec. 26 at 4:40 a.m.

Significant snow is expected today with snowfall amounts of up to 10 cm.

When:
This afternoon into tonight.

Additional information:
Snow is expected to begin near noon and continue through the afternoon before ending from west to east through this evening. There is still some uncertainty regarding the track of the low-pressure system, which may impact the eastern edge of the significant snowfall area.

Travel may be difficult due to the accumulating snow. Motorists should exercise caution and adjust travel plans accordingly.
