Environment Canada issues snow squall warning

Description: Snow squalls possible today.

What: Local snowfall amounts of 5 to 10 cm. Reduced visibility at times in heavy snow and local blowing snow.

Lake effect snow squalls off of Georgian Bay are expected to develop this morning and will move south through the area. Strong winds are also expected, further reducing visibility in local blowing snow.

Travel may be hazardous.

Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada. To report severe weather, send an email to [email protected] or post reports on X using #ONStorm.

Recommended Action: Prepare for the possibility of quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions.
