Cache Lake is a jumping off point to paddle routes in the interior and also home to Bartlett Lodge where you can enjoy an amazing meal just a short paddle or boat ride away. 22.8 kilometres of rocky shores and mixed forest are home to a few rustic cottages, a couple of small summer camps and great fishing spots. With a lake depth reaching over 100’ at its deepest, fish for lake trout, small mouth bass and yellow perch. Visit the dam at the east end of the lake or go for a hike on the old rail line. Nearby, find the excellent mountain biking/cross country skiing Minesing Trail and the Old Railway Bike Trail which offers family friendly biking and skiing.
Algonquin Park is home to approximately 300 leasehold cottages which have historically seen lease renewals every 21 years. Leases are being renewed in 2018 through 2038. Lease fees apply. This is a gorgeous clean lake with a maximum 20HP restriction. No Seadoos, no waterskiing; just peace and quiet and cottaging as it once was.
