Huntsville’s Faith Baptist Church is sponsoring an Antique Road show and Artisan Fair on Friday Oct 26, from 9 am to 2 pm for the artisans, and 9 am to 4:30 pm for antique appraisals, at 169 West Road, Huntsville. The event is a fundraiser for Hospice Huntsville.
Faith’s hope is that the event will encourage local artisans, help Hospice Huntsville and create a fun day for many in the community.
Robert Britnell, an art and antique appraiser from Toronto and Bracebridge, will be on hand to appraise people’s antiques and art. In addition, 23 local artisans will have their finest art and crafts on display. Refreshments and lunch will also be available.
Robert Britnell is a fourth generation member of the Britnell family. John Britnell founded the family Antiques Business in London, England in 1873 and brought it to Toronto, Ontario in 1884 where Britnell’s Art Gallery remained for more than 100 years.
Attendees can have their art and antiques appraised by Robert for the nominal fee of $10/item (all funds will be donated to Hospice). Click here to register online to have your antiques appraised.
