A message from the District of Muskoka
NOTICE is hereby given that the 2019 Rate Supported Budget and related user fees will be available on the District of Muskoka’s website at www.muskoka.on.ca and at the local libraries after January 7, 2019.
Discussions at the Committee level will take place on Friday, January 25, 2019 at a joint meeting of the Engineering and Public Works Committee and Finance and Corporate Services Committee at 9:00 a.m. in the Council Chamber, 70 Pine Street, BRACEBRIDGE, Ontario.
The Council of The District Municipality of Muskoka intends to adopt the 2019 Rate Supported Budget at its Council meeting on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 commencing at 3:00 p.m. in the Council Chamber, 70 Pine Street, BRACEBRIDGE, Ontario.
NOTICE is hereby given that the 2019 Draft Tax Supported Budget will be available on the District of Muskoka’s website at www.muskoka.on.ca and at the local libraries after January 7, 2019.
Departmental budget discussions will take place at each of the respective Standing Committees as scheduled during the week of January 21, 2019. These meetings will take place at 70 Pine Street, BRACEBRIDGE, Ontario. Please refer to the District of Muskoka’s website for meeting locations and times at www.muskoka.on.ca under District Government, District Meeting Calendar.
Following the Standing Committee meetings, the budget will be referred to a Committee of the Whole Council meeting for further deliberation. This meeting will take place at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 in the Council Chamber, 70 Pine Street, BRACEBRIDGE, Ontario.
The Council of The District Municipality of Muskoka intends to adopt its 2019 Tax Supported Budget at its regular Council meeting on Tuesday, February 19, 2019, commencing at 3:00 p.m. in the Council Chamber, 70 Pine Street, BRACEBRIDGE, Ontario.
The public is invited to attend the above-noted meetings. At each of the meetings, there will be an opportunity for the public to participate in the budget process. Those wishing to make a formal presentation at any of the meetings noted above, shall make a request to the District Clerk by fax, e-mail or other written method not less than two (2) business days prior to the meetings.
