The District Municipality of Muskoka is offering a temporary fee relief period for the disposal of chippable wood (tree limbs, branches, shrubs, and twigs) at all transfer stations (except Ridout and McLean) to support the community as they clean up after the spring ice storm.
This temporary fee relief period for the public became effective April 1, 2025, and will be available for a limited time and in limited quantities. Brush must be cut into pieces no longer than four feet. Stumps are not accepted.
There’s no deadline right now, so take the time you need. We’ll make sure to give lots of notice before the program wraps up.
