The District of Muskoka has lifted the Significant Weather Event Declaration for all District roads, as of Tuesday, December 30, at 12:00 p.m. The Significant Weather Event for the District of Muskoka was originally declared on December 28, 2025.
With weather conditions improving and road maintenance operations returning to normal service levels, District crews have made significant progress in clearing and treating roads throughout the area. As a result, the District has formally ended the Significant Weather Event declaration for District roads.
The District thanks residents for their patience and understanding throughout the event. Although the Significant Weather Event has been lifted, residents should remain cautious as winter driving conditions can still change rapidly. Regular winter maintenance and monitoring will continue across all District roads.
