Community invited to official naming ceremony of the River Mill Park band shell on Oct. 20

Members of the community, members of the Rotary Club of Huntsville, and politicians will gather at River Mill Park tomorrow, Friday, October 20, at 4:30 p.m. for the official dedication of the band shell in memory of the late Ross Kirwin.

Kirwin was instrumental in the joint project, between the Rotary Club of Huntsville and the Town of Huntsville, which saw a band shell erected for various events and for the entire community to gather around and enjoy at River Mill Park. “Ross Kirwin was a member of the Rotary Club of Huntsville and he was the person behind getting it built. He was the overall coordinator who was responsible for delivering the product to the Town,” said Huntsville Rotary Club President Len Ross.

Members of the community are invited to honour the memory of Kirwin and celebrate the official naming of the band shell.
