Community groups have until November 2 to submit budget-related requests to council committee

The Town of Huntsville would like to notify Community Groups of the deadlines outlined in the 2016 Budget Guidelines.

Community Groups interested in making requests and or submitting new initiatives to committee for the 2016 Budget should review the 2016 Budget Guidelines available at huntsville.ca (see page 6). Community Groups that would like to make a request to committee regarding donations, grants to organizations, forgiveness of fees or donations of capital for the 2016 operating and capital budget should do so prior to November 2, 2015. Submissions received after November 2 will be deferred until the next budget cycle. On November 12, committee will debate and consider the submissions for the draft budget and deputations from community groups will only be granted at this meeting.

This deadline does not include the small community grants program.
